Description
The state of Colima is one-of-a-kind. Offering close contact with Nature from the mountains to the beach (within 40+ minutes or so of each other) and a network of cabins, the Sierra de Manantlan biosphere and reserve is also considered one of the most biodiverse places in the world. There are a network of Indigenous and ejidal community-run nature parks open to the public, including the sea turtle sanctuary in Cuyutlan. Parks and trails with ancient pyramids and petroglyphs can be visited in a number of public areas.
